Wisconsin WinterSocks feedback: “I have knitted these socks many times. Wonderful instructions and fantastic socks when the project is finished. I just sent a pair out to my Auntie in Maine…. she wears them to keep her feet warm inside the house as they keep her calves warm too!”
Tunic Sweater for the Family feedback: “One of my all-time favorite patterns! Glad to own it now, so I don’t have to keep borrowing from a friend. Thank you so much for offering the pattern again.”
Janez & Petrushka, Slavic Knitted Friends feedback: “Oh, she is adorable!!! I love her and her outfit.”
Lillie’s Little Sweater feedback: “And now I’ve made 6 of the Lillie sweaters. It has become my “go to” baby gift.”
Lillie’s Little Sweater feedback: “I have made this sweater 3 times and it has been very well received. Just got a request last night to make a bigger one for one of my son’s friends. I found it fast and easy to make.”
Another Iowa Crew/Cruise Socks feedback, “This too was the first sock pattern I ever knit. I used sock yarn and the socks fit well. I learned to Kitchener stitch with this pattern. Well-written instructions with funny antidotes along the way to help relieve the stress of knitting a new technique. Recommended.”
Iowa Crew/Cruise Socks feedback, “This is the first sock pattern I ever followed, and it was a perfect introduction. It was helpful to learn sock knitting on a larger weight yarn.”
“A Wonderful Wallaby for Kids – 2016 feedback “This is my favorite baby sweater pattern! you can also make it with a collar by stopping when you have completed the hood increases at the back of the neck…I do i-cord around the collar to finish it…the hood is adorable, too…”
“I’ve made the A Wonderful Wallaby for Kids – 2016 and the A Wonderful Wallaby for Grown-Ups – 2016 dozens of times and both seem to fit well in the neck to hood transition.”
“I have the Lillie’s Little Sweater pattern and I love, love, love it. I have several friends who would like it as well. Can I purchase a couple from you?”
“I absolutely love the Wonderful Wallaby pattern and I wanted to thank you for updating it for all of us. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful pattern.”
“My customers and I just love your patterns and the garments that are produced with them. Even beginners feel they’ve made a great sweater.”
“We are a small farm shop with sheep in Northern Vermont and we love your patterns.”
“When my customers find out they don’t have to sew seams at the end of your patterns, cheers ring out.”
“New Englanders love your designs.”
“If I could carry only one line of patterns it would be yours.”
“This is one of my very favorite patterns to knit for children. As my great nieces and nephews grow out of them, I’m asked to knit another. I have both my original pattern and my mother’s but am so glad to see that I can finally purchase it on Ravelry. Actually, last night my daughter took one of the copies and yarn to knit for the baby she is nannying.
I don’t find it difficult to read or follow – it’s actually fun to read not just the boring pattern.
As for strings, you don’t want strings on it for children – it’s a good way for them to get caught and have issues. Also, you really don’t want something tight on ears, as they sweat and can end up with ear infections (per our ear specialist when my son was young and had numerous sets of tubes) air circulation is good for everyone.
Again, love this pattern and will continue to knit it as long as I am able.”
