This Blankie/afghan is a spin-off of the Rambling Rows Afghan. The advantage it has over the original is that a knitter can control the sizing so easily. Handpainted or variegated yarn works well in this design, as well as using just one color. It is as addictive as the Rambling Rows Afghan. You may knit the blankie from fingering, sport or worsted weight yarn. By knitting the first square you can easily determine just how many squares you’ll need to knit to attain a desired size.
