The boot socks are great fun to wear. The pattern calls for worsted weight yarn and directions are given for seven sizes— child size small to men’s Large. The cable is a nice addition, but it is not essential. At the end of the pattern book are two extra patterns, a “Plaited Cable Headband” and “Plaited Cable Boot Toppers.” Other variations of the pattern are explained: (1) Over the Boot Socks, (2) Boot toppers, and (3) Leg Warmers.
